Dear Customers
We hope you find this website interesting and enjoy coming to the Gordon family's bar. This website is to provide you with some of the history of the bar, which is the oldest in London (first opened in 1890) and also is for letting our regulars know if there are any special events.
CLICK HERE if you would like the occasional email about things happening at Gordon’s or if you have any memories to share on the Memories page. Don't worry - registering will not result in a deluge of emails but it will enable us to keep in touch with you now and again.
We do hope you enjoy visiting Gordon's and look forward to welcoming you!

We are sad to report that dear old wine bar Puss, who had taken early retirement some years ago after some officious Health and Safety officer said she couldn't stay in the bar, has passed away. She lived with Berny then Carlos for many years and will be missed by all those who knew her and ask after her.

We are now doing breakfasts for those who want to start the day off with some decent cholesterol. Among other things we are serving the most delicious sausages from Robinson’s butchers in Stockbridge, Hampshire – they are the best sausages you’ll ever taste (well I think they are anyway as he is my local butcher!). Breakfast can be consumed at your leisure on our outside tables in the morning sun (weather permitting), alternatively sit inside and listen to the sounds of bottles chinking as we set up the bar! The menu is as below.
I do hope you will take the opportunity to go and have a try so Tony isn’t too lonely early in the morning.
