We are delighted to bring back of our Beaujolais Nouveau Breakfast:
Thursday 18th November 8:00 -11:00am
After last year’s disappointment at having to cancel our Beaujolais Nouveau Breakfast due to the covid restrictions, we are really excited to announce that this year we are bringing it back! Beaujolais grape yields are low this year so Beaujolais Nouveau is quite scarce but we have managed to secure a limited stock and we are all set to celebrate in our usual style.
We will be opening at 8am on Thursday 18th of November and serving a full English breakfast, kedgeree, coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice and of course this year’s Beaujolais Nouveau, until 11am. Bring on the best dressed and garlic garlands!
For this occasion, we will be taking bookings for both inside and outside for breakfast, just email info@gordonswinebar.com.
Once the colder evenings set in we think November is the perfect time to bring back our much loved family recipe Mulled Wine and our baked Vacherin. A little cosiness to make the most of our now fully covered and heated terrace or enjoyed hidden away in the cave.
We are also very much looking forward to Christmas and New Year’s Eve. This year promises to be all the more special with the chance to meet again freely. Our opening times will follow tradition:
24th December: 11am – 4pm
25th December: CLOSED
26th December: CLOSED
27th and 28th December: 12pm – 10pm
29th and 30th December: 11am – 11pm
31st December: 11am – 1am (New Year’s Eve*)
1st January: CLOSED
2nd and 3rd January: 12pm – 10pm
4th January onwards: back to usual opening times
* Details of how to join us for NYE will be published in November when we are updated on the plans for the city’s public celebrations. Fireworks or not, we will be celebrating!)
In anticipation of Christmas and other winter celebrations we are soon to launch a new gift voucher. A wine tasting of either 3 or 5 different wines especially selected to get your palates a-tingling. Why not peruse our selection in the meantime?
As ever, we are very much looking forward to seeing you all in the run-up to this festive season!
