It’s that time of year again, the champagne and sparkling wine is fully stocked – with some great new additions! – the mistletoe is on its way and the tunes are getting festive indeed.
With great excitement we have curated some fantastic new additions to our wine list, in particular our bubbly and sparkling, just in time to celebrate in style! Already proving very popular we have Chapel Down Vintage Reserve 2019, a great English sparkling wine with hints of Bramley apple, lemon sherbet and crisp toasty notes. Also new on the list is our Champagne: Greno Brut Grand Prestige NV with its fine bubbles and dry citrus, apricot, floral notes. For those who will join us in large numbers, we have the perfect magnum for you. Our Pommery Brut Apenage, a sublime Champagne with aromas of candied citrus, dried apricot and buttery notes. Let’s not forget that our favourite winter warmer is back, and pairs wonderfully with all our sparkling choices, the baked Mont D’Or. We think a visit to Gordon’s is now long overdue!
This year our festive opening times vary slightly, we will be closed all day on Christmas Eve to carry out some essential maintenance work. The opening times will be as follows:
24th/25th/26th December: CLOSED
27th December: 12pm – 10pm
28th – 30th December: 11am – 11pm
31st December: 11am – 2am
1st January: CLOSED
2nd January: 12pm – 10pm
3rd January: normal hours resume
This year for New Year’s Eve we will be open until 2am. The council has changed restriction areas and we are no longer required to issue a letter/wristbands. Villiers Street will remain accessible throughout the night. However, we do advise checking the official Mayor of London page and TfL before travelling to ensure the quickest route and avoid any station/road closures.
