English Wine Week will be soon upon us and for the occasion we are very excited to announce we have a new wine on our special’s board!
Sussex Reserve by Nutbourne Vineyards. The ‘field blend’ combines old vine Riesling-style German varietals with Pinot Noir to produce a crisp, dry white wine with great freshness and wild fruit flavours.
For the full English experience you can pair it with our British Board, with staple classics Cheddar, Stilton, Scotch Eggs and Pork Pie or you could mix it up with our brand new on the menu Charcuterie Sharing Board with a changing selection available. For cheese lovers, our Highmoor soft cheese, produced at the Nettlebed Creamery, is savoury and sticky and goes perfectly with the Sussex Reserve on warm summer’s day!
From June 19 until June 27 visit our terrace or sit in the cave and celebrate locally produced wine and food!
